Had a leak during the heavy rain in January, which turned out to be a failed valley. Alex at A.W Roofing replaced it with a new lead valley and carried out slate repairs. Really pleased with the work, neat, solid finish and no issues since, even in bad weather. Fair price, no upfront payment, and everything (including scaffolding and cleanup) was handled smoothly. I had ongoing issues with a leak coming from my chimney, from the moment Alex came to have a look at discuss I felt reassured and at ease. Alex spent time talking about the issue and the options of work that could be done, it didn’t feel rushed at all. He was really informative and didn’t make the experience intimidating at all which it can be at times. Alex’s communication was excellent and he kept me updated with dates / times of work. I have struggled with a persistent leak in my roof for the last 2 years. I have had used several roofer to try and solve the problem but their (costly) attempts failed to solve the problem.
